there's no place like home.

bust out those ruby slippers I'm coming home!

well, I'm already home, working, and having a ball, but sitting on my breezy back porch surrounded by fragrant jasmine and beautiful blooms has me thinking, there's no place like home.

In the past week and a half I have graduated from Texas A&M, eaten my weight in crawfish, moved my belongings across the state, interviewed for new job, started a new job, and managed to fit in a good four beach days.

I've been busy. and I've been incredibly happy.

I am now, for longer than a month, residing in the same county as my boyfriend. We have yet to live in the same zip code, but after almost two years of living 373 miles apart, I think we'll manage.

I have an awesome job with an amazing company. I'm the account services representative at MPC Studios, a marketing firm specializing in web development. It's an amazing opportunity and I am so excited to grow with this company.

I was made to love the ocean. I am a beach girl through and through. I love to be on the water, in the water, or just close enough to smell that beautiful sea breeze. Take me away from the water, and I'm grouchy. Four years in College Station was my limit. So to soothe my deprivation induced agitation, I managed to go to the beach four times in 7 days. All were different trips, one relaxing, one energetic, one spontaneous, and one adventurous.

One beach, four ways. there truly is no place like my home.

finals... seriously?

ok fine, I'll update my blog. actually, i've been neglecting this blog due to obsessional thought about my new blog, In Great Spirits. This new blog will highlight entertainment ideas and show you step by step photo instructions to make delicious cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and simple decor. Expect it to be up and running in June!

you may notice my blog header has seen improvement, the rest of the page will follow, be patient. I'm learning.

Aside from fantasizing about my new blog, I've been busy studying for finals and searching for a job. I have a few leads on jobs en el valle, but it's been a very trying experience.

Graduating in exactly a week!!!!! yay!

Up next... College Station Top Ten.

yes SNOW!!!!

Snow in Texas is an event, it commands your attention. You cannot possible concentrate on school (especially your Internet Marketing exam) when it looks like this outside!
and this my friends was just the start of it! When I finished my difficult test made impossible by my lack of concentration due to the snow outside, I was greeted by an absolutely beautiful blanket of beautiful white stuff!

First of the Last

my goodness my guinness, it's the FIRST day of my LAST semester as student at Texas A&M.

well, undergrad at least, at some point I will go back to escuela for another round, MBA perhaps? At any rate, its the end of an era. I suppose I should commemorate this special occasion with a post (haven't done that in ages) and a special release of a select few pictures saluting my undergraduate adventure!
Here's to the fabulous summer before I started college! I don't expect to have that body ever again.
Halloween Freshman Year. I wish I would have been more creative with the "schoolgirl" hair...

One of my favorites, a classic college shot from my sophomore year. My hair was sooooo long!

Enter: Cody Phillips, the love of my life. Junior year, so much fun!

Senior year, a huntress emerges...

I feel like I've grown up a lot in the past four years. It's never been easy, but I wouldn't trade any of my experiences. Every day brings something new, challenging, and fun, and I wouldn't have it any other way!
